Ok once again sorry for the lack of posts, I have been super busy with school and having people at my house. However I just recently got a new computer with more space then I know what do to with, so I plan on making a lot more montages and posting random clips.

PHX Trip

So as you can see from the video above I had a good trip. I got 12 clips,15 clips, skate new spots, met some new friends and chilled with all the canadian homies. This past weekend was the finals for the Volcom Wild In The Parks Contest at the Rio Vista skatepark, so I gave me a good reason to take the 6 hour drive out. Here are some random and left over photos from the trip.

QuikSilver TF Montage

This montage I actually filmed awhile ago with Hayden Kelly, Stacy Gabriel, Garrett Wilson and JS Lapierre but misplaced the tape. Last night I decided to search for the tape. After about 2 hours and 30 something tapes later I still could not find it. Then for whatever reason I decided to check my broken VX's. Sure enough in one of them was a tape, I didn't think this could be the tape because this vx had been broken for some time and was not even the one I filmed the montage with. Sure enough when I played by the tape it was the footage I was looking for................. Sometimes you find what your looking for in the strangest places.

Photo Of The Week

This is a photo of a homie Brendon from SD. This was the first day I met him and I took him this gap pretty close to my place. He got out the car and we didn't know if he wanted to skate it, next thing we know he landed this hardflip with out photo or footage. Then he came over to the car and said "hey wanna film that for the hell of it" he ended up landing the hardflip 3 more time before telling us " ok i got another trick for this thing" within 5 more tries he had his second trick.

Portfolio 1

For the past three months I have been taking a Intro to photography class. As a final project we have been asked to create a portfolio of ten to twelve images that we have shot over the coarse. 5 of the images were taken from assignments and then I was allowed to take 5 other images from my own work. - Brandon Alton

Sometimes getting mail is a O.K. thing

Alright so remember my post of Hayden, TJ and I getting our tape taken away? Well I recently went back to Vancouver for the weekend and when I got back to LA I went to collect my mail, Guess what was in my mail box........ The tape that got taken away at moorepark collage. So I pop it in and sure enough there are the two clips Hayden, Tj and I thought we would never see again.

This week I am posting a photo I shot since I have been living in California. His name is Tyler Pacheco but most people call him "manchild". If you ever go to santa clarita park you will most likely see him killing it.

Fuck The Police

So Tj,Hayden and myself went out skating today. We went to this 4 block up in the valley. We got there and it was pretty windy so we weren't sure if we were going to skate it. Hayden decided to try his trick first and see how bad the wind actually was. After the first try he said it was doable, so this made TJ think of a trick because he has this thing where he has to get a trick on a spot anyone else does. So 3 tries after Hayden started he said he's got his trick, Hayden lands his trick and TJ says back that, and he lands his trick too get Hayden's back. We left that spot and decided to go to this rail I knew of in the valley at this collage. We get there and TJ right away thinks of a trick, he tries it from a bit then I noticed the cops roll up and I tell TJ lets go but he decides to go anyway. The cops now get super pissed and call us over to their car where they start questioning us and making smart ass remarks. Next the cop tells me he is taking my camera, then I start questioning why, next he says show me the footage of him skating the rail so I do, then he tells me he is taking the tape as evidence. Fuck! There goes the two tricks!! So we are still giving all our info for the cops when Hayden and I notice that the other cop is giving TJ a ticket. I ask " what are you getting a ticket for?" The officers says because he has no ID, they even finger printed him to put on there copy of the ticket. After we leave the spot everyone is pretty bummed, then I ask " wanna go back and get the tricks?" There is a small silence then Hayden says "I'm Down". This I'm pretty sure was not what TJ was thinking but ends up agreeing. We get back to the spot pretty bummed, but once we started skating it didn't take both of them long to get there tricks again.

New Pet

So I found my new pet at this spot near my place. Who wants to come stay at my house?

To Be honest I was walking to my car to get my camera and walked past what I thought was a stick I got about 10 feet away from it when I noticed out of the corner of my eye it start to slither away....... I was like what that fuck! that is a snake. I was told later that I was super lucky cause the snake was still a baby and that when there young they can not control there venom.

Skatepark Spot Check "Syndrome Skatepark"

Sorry for the lack of updates! I have been super busy with moving down to L.A. and going to school but now that I am a little more settled I had time to do a quick update with this skatepark spot check.

This time I had the opportunity to go to Syndrome skatepark. Thanks to Micky Papa who called down and asked if we could come skate drop by for a session even though he was injured......... This park has everything you would want to skate and is for sure one of the most fun TF's. Also it was cool that they let me shoot some photos for my blog. Some companies will not let you film or shoot photos in their skateparks unless you are part of the company and doing it for a reason. Below are just a couple photos we shot, the park was so fun we ended up skating most of the time.
